In a time of increasing polarization nationwide, it’s important to prevent politics from dividing our community. We must move beyond a dysfunctional past and work together to improve our community for all residents. To that end, I am already meeting with and expect to collaborate with my counterparts in Town Council and the rest of our municipal government. We must listen to each other and learn from each other’s diverse perspectives. I also look forward to working with a new mayor in a climate of openness and mutual respect, regardless of party affiliation.
